Alex Macksoud

I run Content Write Now from Royal Oak, Michigan, where I write for agencies and executives across the country and explain to my kids that yes, writing is a real job.

I came up journalism-first. My long-form instincts are anchored in narrative reporting, my newsletter register owes a debt to the better political writers and my humor arrives mostly uninvited. The work spans healthcare, legal, nonprofit, commercial real estate, financial services, energy and education, which sounds scattered until you notice the common thread: industries where getting a fact wrong has consequences.

Agencies hire me to make them look good and stay out of the photo. Executives hire me because their actual thinking deserves to survive contact with a page. Both arrangements run on the same fuel, which is interviews, source fidelity and an allergy to copy that sounds like everyone else’s.

Off the clock I’m building a house, raising kids and writing historical fiction nobody asked for, set in three centuries that all deserved better PR.
